This project is built by volunteers, donation funded and is a joint effort between The Minnesota Off Road Cyclists **(www.morcmtb.org) and the City of Cottage Grove. It is free to the public and is a grassroots effort.
Cottage Grove Bike Park, at this time, has completed phase one of three phases. The park is now open dawn till dusk weather permitting and includes a 4x track and two pump tracks.
Phase two will take place this summer. Phase two will include the addition of a tot track, an area designed for 16 inch wheels and smaller, as well as a dirt jump plaza. The bike park also won one the 2014 Bell Built Grant and will have IMBA Trail Solutions on site later this summer to help build the dirt jump section of the park. Hopefully this will be completed and opened this fall.
